Unstan chambered cairn is 0.2 miles and one minute distance from Smiddy Cottage. Built approximately 2800 BC it is another one of Orkney's Neolithic gems. Entrance is free, unescorted and you can visit at any time of day or night.

Neolithic Tomb. Free access and open everyday. Recommend seeing this as well as Maeshowe as they are different style of tombs
