The Tampa Bay Rays, 2008 American League champions, hold their spring training at the newly renovated Charlotte Sports Park. The Charlotte Stone Crabs, The Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, also call the Sports Park their home turf.

2.5 miles to the East is where the Tampa Bay Rays have their Spring training. We typically ride our bikes there to avoid traffic and parking fees. Don't buy the reserved seats, get general admission and cruise around. Hooter's bar is in center field.
