It opened on July 1 of 1897 as a casino in the city. After the ban on gambling in 1927 it later closed. In 1947 it became the City Council offices.

fue construido e inaugurado en 1897, como casino de la ciudad. Cuando se cerró el casino en 1924 permaneció cerrado hasta 1947, momento en el que decidieron ubicar allí el ayuntamiento.
