Best Thai food in town. Nothing fancy just a solid spot for down home cuisine. The orange chicken is definitely a favorite and if you're craving sweets, the mango sticky rice is thebomb.com

The best Thai is SLO. Next to the train station. A little closer is Thai Boat which is also very good and the people that own it are incredibly nice. They are Thai and often go back to Thailand to visit family so you may find they are not open. At least there are two good options.
