Ausgrabungen: Hera Tempel. Eines der wohl mächtigsten Tempel-Anlagen, ausserhalb Griechenlands. Die Säulen wurden in Kriegen jedoch alle abgetragen und sind in Crotone zu bestaunen (Kirche).

At the archeological site of Capocolonna you can find 2,600 yearls old ruins of a Greek colony and - most notably - a Ionic column of an ancient Greek tample. You'll also find a beautiful church, a nice typical bar and an access to the seaside (so make sure you bring your swimsuite!)

Bellissima da vedere la colonna che insieme alle sue perdute compagne, sosteneva il tempio dedicato alla Dea Hera. Oggi è luogo di culto della Madonna di Capo Colonna, protettrice della città di Crotone che si festeggiamo la terza domenica di maggio. Interessante da visitare è il museo archeologico.
