We are fortunate to have the Hennepin Canal system within minutes of driving or cycling just south of Princeton. Feel free to fish (with IL fishing license if over 18), bicycle, hike or picnic.

This is very nearby for great hiking and biking. We may be able to loan you a bike too! Just head out of town on Mainstreet until the road curves to the right and it is about 200 feet after the Bureau Creek. You can also get to it on the North Side of town where there is a nice parking place and even bathrooms and picnic tables.
