Calm waters ideal for children, horseback riding, ATV’s, kayaking, water sports, numerous restaurants
A great way to spend the day! This beach is unique and different than those in the Golden Zone. I recommend taking a lancha (ferry) over for $30 pesos. Their is a great restaurant called El Puesta Del Sol. You can relax or there are plenty of activities to do!
You can ride to the port, and hop a ride on a ponga boat, for the ten minute ride across the harbor. Once there, walk or hire a taxi to the restaurant row, pick one, be served, ride a banana boat, jet ski, play in the surf or walk the long beach towards the tree farms and golf course near the airport. Lifeguards on duty. Fresh fish are also available for purchase in the afternoon.

Stone Island is fun in a Mexican sort of way. don't go on a tour - you can catch a boat from old town docks for $2 and get great food there - go to Carmalita's to eat - our fave.
