Carolyn recommends the Jigger Shop. It's an old fashioned historic ice cream shop that's been in existence over 100 years. It's very nostalgic with a unique setting in the woods. Their food is great and the ice cream is delicious!

No trip to Mt. Gretna is complete without a visit to the Jigger Shop! In addition to all sorts of ice-cream concoctions, they offer kid-friendly food like burgers, fries, chicken strips, etc. This place gets hopp'in during the peak season and hours, so be prepared to stand in line to place your order and try to have a friend save a seat beneath the whispering pines growing throughout the dining area.
