Quite an experience to walk among one of the LSTs built right here in Evansville, Indiana. This sight features an indoor maritime museum, and other historical features relating to the usage of the LSTs in American History.
During WWII Evansville used to build LST (Landing Ship Tank). This is one of the few that has still survived. Great place to take the kids or just find out a little bit about history.
