Phabeni Gate is the closest entrance into the Kruger from Sabie- just 55 kilometers via R536 and Hazyview – just 10 kilometres. For those travelling to Kruger from Nelspruit for the day, Phabeni gate makes the already easy journey even simpler – you're in the magnificent Kruger in just over an hour and a quarter.

This is the closest gate to the Kruger National Park (KNP). If you want to go on a self drive safari to the KNP we recommend you to enter at this gate. This gate might be very busy in the early mornings in peak/holiday season. Then we recommend to use the "Kruger Gate". (see detail on guidebook)

Go see the BIG 5. Enter through Phabeni Gate which is approximately 40 kms from Sabie. This is therefore the perfect entry into Kruger National Park for either a DAY TRIP or a LONG STAY.

World famous Kruger National Park! Nothing beats a day visit to the Kruger. Lovely picnic spots along the way. Such a treat to view animals in their natural habitat. Peace.. quiet.. tranquility... AFRICAN BUSH!
