Le roi soleil built this incredible castle. You will see that is more a entire city than a castle, (between 5000 and 10000 people lived or worked there). In theory, under Louis XIV, everyone could come in versailles if he was wearing a hat and a sword (and it was possible to rent that at the front door !) The famous Chateau de Versailles should be on your list and it's only 30min RER C (local train) ride from our flat.

RER C from saint-Michel, direction Versaille Chateau. then 7 minutes by walk there. There are some musical and fontaibe show during the summer.
