Freedom Park is a beautiful nature reserve just four minutes away by car (.96 miles). It is full of splendor and nature with wooden boardwalks throughut the park. A great place to go for a walk!

Wonderful large nature park right in town with lakes, a swamp boardwalk and small interpretive center. Different local ecosystems exist in this park and it is the perfect place to see local plants and animals and to bird watch. Paved smooth trails make it perfect for jogging, biking, wheelchairs. Fantastic accessible park for all ages. And it's free and close by!
