Cheapest happy hour at base area. Good local spot with great happy hour specials. Regular food, but great locale with lots of noise and a rowdy scene.

A local favorite for those who work on the mountain. Great specials and great food. Happy people and great service! Definitely attracts a fun apres-ski crowd.

This is Steamboat Apres. As one of the original gems at the base of Steamboat mountain is always a great spot for a cold or warm beverage after a day of skiing. You have to get a picture in the chairlift seat as well.

In the heart of Gondola Square, this is the place to be on a powder day. They have a famous "powder clause" that offers discounts on Bloody Mary's if there is over a certain amount of snow overnight. You will be rubbing shoulders with plenty of locals too.

Great view of the base of the mountain, if you can get on their patio in the afternoon when the sun is nice and hot it is absolutely amazing! they have a killer grilled cheese and tomato soup as well! They are also open for breakfast which is great if you were running out the door to get the little one into ski school but forgot to eat yourself.
