Prince Eugen’s former residence "Waldemarsudde" is one of Sweden’s most popular art museums, beautifully situated on Djurgården in Stockholm. Catch tram nr. 7, nearby Sergels torg, sign-posted to Djurgården/Waldemarsudde.

Museum with classic art, but also worth a visit just for the fantastic house, architecture, view and surroundings. Perfect stop on a Djurgårds-trip.

By the water at the cliffs you can sit down in the sun and look at the boat life and have a very good view of Stockholm.

A prince/painter had this house built to get away from royal duties and hang out with the artist and jet set of Stockholm back in the days. He collected art and had an excellent taste in interiors as well. Cute café there too.
