We also call 1st Beach. 1st Beach is perfect for you if you want to grab something to eat afterwards, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

My favorite beach because it is close to downtown Newport. You can also go on the cliff walk from here.

Our public city beach, Easton's (or as we call it, "1st Beach") is perfect for that Jersey Shore vibe in the summer. Apparently they have killer lobster rolls and there's an old school carousel on the boardwalk. This is the beach where lunatics jump in the water on NYD.

This section of Memorial Boulevard is flanked by Easton's pond on one side and a 3/4 mile (1.2km) stretch of Atlantic-facing beachfront on the other. The Cliff Walk beings at the westmost side of the beach.
