Amazing location in the heart of the Tongariro National Park, I suggest go for coffee in the hotel, sit in the big picture window, memorable.

You don't have to spend a lot to soak up the atmosphere of this grand old lady. Have a coffee in the opulent lounge from which splendid views are obtained of the mountains, including those from Lord of the Rings.

Somewhere quite unique to stay or just call. One of their specialties is The Grand Chateau High Tea.
