If you want to be immersed in a Renaissance garden, visit the Bardini Gardens. They're very different than the Boboli gardens, much more curated, intimate and with lovely views of the city. There’s a little cafe there where you can pause and overlook the city.

A park with panoramic views of the city, the Green Pearl of the Oltrarno, a paradise made of Wisteria and ornamental statues. On the occasion of free access provided to every first Sunday of the month, there will be guided tours in the Park. The Bardini garden has been called the garden of the three steps as it is a combination of three different gardens that grew from three hundred to date with completely different characters and elements. Even today are well recognizable: the great baroque staircase with Central stone statues and walls decorated with wood Dragon channel other fountains in the West and the agricultural part further East.

Beautiful small garden with fantastic view of the city. The Villa Barding often has great art exhibits and the Capucci permanent exhibit is something to see
