It's a bit of a drive away, but there is also Doon Pioneer Village nearby. More of the regions history for you to see.

Inexpensive - has a great outdoor 19'th century village (blacksmith & haberdashery etc) , only open during summer on weekends. Interior exhibits also interesting for local history and culture
