It’s absolutely breathtaking to see this giant, 12 foot Amida Buddha at the Jodo Mission in Lahaina. Not many tourists know about this hidden gem. The setting is in a gorgeous courtyard and every Thursday from 4 to 7 PM there is a local farmers’ market. Sightseeing and Food!

I love this beautiful peaceful temple with it's huge bronze statue of Lord Buddha. Another added bonus about the location- loads of free parking and it's right on one of my favorite Westside beaches- Baby Beach in Lahaina. Plenty of shade but no bathrooms or showers.

nice grounds and right in front of Baby Beach.. Small kine waves if you just want to wade in and float in salt water:)
