This grand 1990s building, with its proud white columns and intricate white railings is fondly referred to as the "wedding cake". Take a free tour or wander around on your own. There's story boards on the legislative process, information on the Bombing of Darwin and inside the library a fascinating exhibition called "The Territory Story". There is also a cafe, Speaker's Corner with wonderful views up and down the coast.

It's called the 'Wedding Cake' and the corners are in the shape of torpedoes. There is a plaque in the foyer where one of the bombs in World War II hit the post office that was originally in this place.
