正式名称は「華厳寺」であるが、四季を通してスズムシを飼育しているため、通称「鈴虫寺」と呼ばれている。 KEGONJI TEMPLE got its nick name "suzumushi dera" which literally means cricket temple, because the monks of the temple raise bell crickets and they sing all year round.
