Besides being a good place to launch a boat or kayak or to fish from the jetty amongst the pelicans, Orient Point is a scenic place to walk or drive or cycle around. The view from the top of Orama Crescent is magnificent. This is where Bert Evans used to build boats. There is a park with swings etc. lower down Orama Crescent. If your there early or late you might need some insect repellant. It's only 5 minutes drive from Salty's.
