Balboa Island Newport Beach (visitnewportbeach.com) Drive or take a ferry to Balboa Island. Here you can stroll through small streets, enjoy dining at numerous wonderful small restaurants, take a ride on the ferris wheel at the Balboa Fun Zone, and relax at the water’s edge.

Balboa Island is surrounded by a paved concrete boardwalk open to pedestrian traffic, designated as a public walking trail by the city. Balboa Island's Marine Avenue is home to local small businesses including restaurants, bakeries and local crafts.

Quaint. Beautiful. Peaceful. A place that feels like a moment in time long ago, but also just simply beautiful. Walk around the outer edge of the island and make your way to Marine Avenue where there are cute local shops and restaurants.
