Beautiful view and able to walk to the most easterly point of Australia. Start your walk from the beach café then continue via Wategoes and go to the most easterly point then up to the lighthouse and down through the forest. You may even see Whales, dolphins, etc...

It's a great walk up to the Lighthouse, with amazing views.

Staying at Wategos means you are right on the walking track to the Cape Byron Lighthouse. You can either take the road to the lighthouse or head towards Little Wategos and follow the stairs to the most easterly point of Australia.
