A great place for a lazy Sunday BBQ and water sport with the family on the beach. If you are looking for picnic and lawn games, the Caldwell beach offers a bigger, grassy area for the whole fam to spread out. However, the walking path from the Wildlife Refuge Center on the Nampa side is the best for watching the full moon rise (at sunset) in the summer months.

This is a big grassy park that leads up to the water's edge. Lots of trees shade the area when the hot summer sun is out. There's a sandy beach that's safe for the kids. Great for an morning or evening paddle board outing. Also a boat ramp to launch your boat or jet skis for great summer fun.
