Porto Buffalo is a seaside settlement built on the inmost part of the bay with the same name, Buffalo. It is one of the most picturesque corners of southern Evia. Some taverns serve fresh fish. Nearby Porto Buffalo is the secluded beach, Sykies Gerou, with fig trees standing almost at the water. The beach is pebbly with a western orientation. To get there: pass through Porto Boufalo and continue for 3-4km south. To get to Porto Buffalo: There is a local ferry crossing to Evia from the village of Agia Marina, a few kilometres north of Schinias.
