It's a beautiful place to take a walk. There's a Japanese garden, a bonsai collection, a palmateum, a display garden by local master gardeners and more!

Beautiful gardens! All types of gardens from pollinator beds to local veggie beds to the bonsai display. It's free and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

FREE! Take a slow and easy stroll through 11 different gardens all in one lovely lakeside location. This is an easy and relaxed place with plenty of nooks to sit and enjoy the Oakland sunshine, birds chirping & butterflies fluttering gently by. We love that it's never crowded (unless there's an event) and we also appreciate the community-run feel of the place. My favorite gardens here include the Japanese Bonsai Garden, the Edible Garden, the Pollinator Garden, and the Sensory Garden. What will be your favorites? Enjoy! Open 9AM-5:30PM Daily - Entry is free!
