Great jerk chicken and oxtail soup. And seriously hot, hotsauce. Homemade coconut ice cream is pretty kick-ass too. Parkdale institution (one of the oldest establishments in the neighbourhood.)

Snug spot known for its doubles (spicy fried chickpea patties), hearty curries & island murals. If you like West Indian food you will love this place.

This place sells excellent West Indian food for reasonable prices. I would suggest the doubles or Dal and Roti. You could even treat yourself to a snack with tamarind balls.
