Perfect for young children! Brookside Miniature Railway, located in Brookside Garden Centre in Poynton, offers a mini train ride for families and enthusiasts along a half mile circuit through the beautiful gardens of this large garden centre. A short trip, but a good distraction for the kids if you want to break up a visit to this garden centre and cafe. The railway has an authentic GWR station, full size Midland Railway signal box, and a museum of railway relics and memorabilia, so there is plenty to keep you and the kids entertained. There is also a picnic area, restaurant garden, and gift shops to enjoy, plus a large Aquatic Centre, and 2 Drive your own Tram tracks on site.
