A visit to Is-Suq Tal-Belt, housed within the original Valetta market that was completed in 1861, is a culinary and cultural experience. Inspired by the iconic, food markets of Europe, you’ll find a variety of eateries serving a range of cuisines as well as a small food market selling brad, delicatessen and more.

This was the old Market and is now turned into a funky place to eat and hang out. There is a well-stocked supermarket in the basement.

The rehabilitation of the iconic Victorian-era structure in Valletta, affectionately known as Is-Suq tal-Belt, has been transformed from a derelict structure into a state of the art destination, where one can grab a bite, shop for food and relax in the city.
