These are the best tacos in Nashville and maybe also the world. In fact, if you try this place, and know of a place that is better, please let me know so I can go there! They never get any credit because they are not in a glamorous spot in town. You might have to order in Spanish depending on who is working, but that's how you know it's good. Be careful with the green and red sauces, they can be a bit spicy/amazing! You can also get about 20 tacos for around $30 so it's a fantastic value.

It's hard to pick one taqueria that stands above the rest, but Taqueria San Luis is hard to beat. Find the street-side smokers, hit the walk-up window and order from an assortment of tacos, tortas, and quesadillas. It has the usual suspects such as spicy pork, chorizo, and chicken, but don't miss out on the buttery cabeza (beef head) and lengua (tongue).
