A beautiful place for the weekend, it has lots of resturants and boutiques alongside intimate historic site museums and happenings right on the waterfront. You can enjoy a walkable downtown lined with beautifully preserved 18th- and 19th-century architecture.

Great waterfront where you can catch a water taxi to National Harbor across the Potomac River, take a river tour by boat, or just catch some views.
