All the locals from all of SF will try to make it for brunch. Brunch or any other meals is worth having. Even takeout.

One of the best breakfast spots in the city, not just Cole Valley. Don't miss their gingerbread pancakes and eggs benedict. Get there early if you don't want to wait in line.

One of the best brunch restaurants in the city hands down. I would recommend NOT coming on a weekend (the wait can be as long as 2 hours), but heading there for breakfast during the week. Take a look at their specials menu, but really you cannot go wrong when ordering here. If can only make it on a weekend, put your name down on the list, walk across the street to Luke’s market and grab coffee and a pastry to hold you over while you wait and people watch.

Small, bustling French restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lively atmosphere and great patio in the back. No reservations are accepted so you may wait in line depending on time of day. Worth it though!
