The C&O Canal Towpath runs from Washington, DC to Cumberland, MD. Bike a section starting in Hancock, MD and cruise by the canal and the Potomac River.

Great place to walk or bring your bike! This 180 mile long trail goes from Georgetown in Washington DC north west to Cumberland Maryland. Free with wonderful scenery.
