Karlova ulice (Charles Street) is connecting Old Town Square with Karlův most (Charles Bridge) and since 12th century is part of Royal Route between Old Town Square and Prague Castle. Narrow street has original gothic and renaissance houses, Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace and is full of restaurants and souvenir shops, very busy during summer.

Karlova Street is only for pedestrians. Bears its name of Karel IV. It is part of the so-called Royal Route.
