It's a little known fact that this library is open to the public, not just university students. If you have an eduroam account (most Australian universities and some overseas universities offer it) you can use their WiFi for free. Otherwise, you need to BYO. This library has excellent opening hours, especially during exam or end of semester periods. Much quieter than public libraries. Plenty of quiet study areas and the facilities, e.g. Toilets and water fountains, power points, are plentiful and well kept. There's vending machines downstairs and a cafe on site that is open during the day on weekdays.
