Keldur is the oldest preserved turf house in Iceland, believed to build in the 11th Century. A lot of medieval battles took place around Keldur and among other interesting things, like buildings from different time periods, you will see escape tunnel. Keldur is now owned and maintained by the National Museum of Iceland. Distance is about 26 kilometers (16 mi).

An old turf farm, one of the largest in South Iceland. It's charming and unique.
