This is the best place of Salta to have some nice Empanadas (dumplins) or a nice plate of Locro (corn soup with meat). This place is very popular. It is right in front of the Traditional restaurant Valderrama. In this place, there are a lot of little restaurants, so always the waitreses will try to convince you to sit in their tables. I recomend you to go and sit fast in the table that you want, and dont pay atention to them. The fried empanadas are the best of Salta!
