The nearest train station, a 10 min walk across the park (Go out of the station and turn left, take the first left and walk across the park for the easiest route - it takes much longer to walk the road route!!) 0.8 miles in distance if you follow the 'road' route and don't cut across Kings Park

Trains are quick and run regularly from Pokesdown Station. They can take you west to Poole and Weymouth and north to the New Forest, Salisbury, Winchester etc.

Local railway station -sometimes manned sometimes not! Has self service ticket machine. No lift - not wheelchair friendly.
