Plaster Funtime

Painting doesn’t exert much energy, but kids get really into picking their plaster moulds, decorating them, and taking their masterpieces home from this ceramics class. Little painters cover up in smocks, pick a mould—from fairies and robots to superheroes and Minions—and sit down and concentrate until their characters are perfectly coloured and fired. Since painting is a low-energy activity, you might need to get the kids moving afterward. Luckily, the painting studio is located in the Entertainment Quarter, near other great rainy-day destinations including the Monkey Mania indoor playground and AMS Bowling alley, which also offers laser tag.
