Downtown Lynchburg is just 20-25 minutes away and has lots of eating options as well as walking trails and local shops. Fun little place to explore and sits one the banks of the James River.

We are a short 25 minute drive to downtown Lynchburg! The food and music scene has grown exponentially here in the last five years. Roof top bars, music venues, theatre, antiques, trails, art; all along the James River. LYH has something for every one.

I recommend visiting the downtown area. There are many great shops and eats you can enjoy as well as historic sites you can view as you walk around.

Lynchburg is home to some amazing shops, especially if you have an eye for antiques! From apparel and accessories to locally crafter candles and pottery, Downtown Lynchburg has something for everyone. *The Downtown Lynchburg Association is a great starting point to access all shops, restaurants, and public parking.*

Defiantly worth going, tons of restaurants and bars, from the waterdog, fifth and federal, Momma Crocket's, Farmers Market, Mrs. Joys, dish, Texas Inn, market at main, dish, duke's diner, glasshouse... so many good options to choose from!
