Mining Academy & Botanic Garden The Worldwide fame of Štiavnica came not only from the fabulous treasures but also from the world-class Mining Academy which since 1762 was the world's first higher institute for engineering studies. Features: a short walk under the shady trees of the Botanical Garden will make your time pleasant.

Botanická záhrada je úžasné miesto na romantický piknik , oddych, načerpanie energie keďže v Banskej Štiavnici je všetko do kopca alebo z kopca :D. Založená bola po otvorení štúdia lesníctva v 19st. Najzaujímavejšie dreviny ktoré tam nájdete patria sekvojovce mamutie a japonský ceder.
