Great beach for a good long walk or jog. Can drive your vehicle up a long way.

This is the beach you can see lots of from the Freeman Retreat! Sand for miles and usually hardly anyone else around. If you have a 4WD there’s access at Bangalee.

Just north of Yeppoon. ‘Farny’ is 17 km long and part of ‘The Big Dune Surfing Reserve’. The beach offers a good beach break and vehicle access. Dogs are allowed of leash from Bangalee boat ramp south to Barwells Creek with access via Hinz Avenue. At the northern end of Farnborough is Corio Bay, a tidal inlet offering good beach fishing.
