Great just to walk around and also visit the garden area at the back. Tours of the State Rooms are available as well tours of underground areas with foundation going back to Viking times.

There is so much to see in Dublin Castle, you won't be disappointed. The oldest tower dates back to 1228. The grounds are free to walk around, visit the gardens and the Chester Beatty Library while you're there.
