I used to love visiting the zoo on field trips back in grade school. There are numerous private zoos in Naples, but this is the most accessible.

A perfect smaller zoo that everyone can enjoy spending the day relaxing and seeing some really great exhibits and animals. Say hi to the Anteater for us!!

Tigers, Lions and Bears...oh my. Very nice zoo about 20 minutes drive, can be seen in a day and great for small children. the Miami zoo is another possibility but it's a 1.5 hr drive.
