The Tara is an art cinema offering indies, foreign films and mainstream flicks too. The other nearby art house is Midtown Art on Monroe Drive. Have dinner at Taqueria Del Sol (close by) or Rain Fusion (same center).

This boutique movie theatre plays Indie films and those that won't be found at the larger Cineplex. It's clean and attracts a somewhat older crowd. It is about a 20 minute drive depending on traffic, but always worth it to me.

The Tara theater is an old-school movie theater with mostly independent films and some classics. Come here and relax and take in a movie.
