The Browns Bay Market is held every Sunday from 7am till 12pm in the car park at 25 Anzac Road. This is one of the only community run markets in New Zealand. Stall holder site fees go towards local community projects, including the local coast guard unit. There is a range of goods for sale and stalls are constantly changing, from tools and antiques, designer clothes, books, second hand clothes, bags, hand crafts, art, hand made jewellery, a wide variety of fresh produce, home baking, flowers, plants, free range eggs and honey.
