Im Stadtpark am Kiosk findet man das Café Günter Coffe Roasters. Eigene Kaffeerösterei und leckeres Gebäck sowie kleine Speisen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This is the perfect place to go to after a hike in the forest! I suggest having a hike in the hills surrounding Günterstal, then rewarding yourself with the best roasted coffee in town and French pastry. They are the same roasters who make coffee for Café Marcel in the city park (Stadtgarten), so the quality is really good. Like a lot of things in Freiburg: Bio and fair trade :)
