Boote legen am Seeufer in Richtung der Borromäischen Inseln mit ihren Palazzi, Villen, einem Fischerhafen und dem Museum Della Bambola ab. Der über dem See thronende Monte Mottarone bietet eine Rodelbahn und botanische Gärten.
