Stunning views. -If you bring sunflower seeds with you chipmunks will eat out of your hands at the Vista Point Lookout. -It's approximately 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive with stops to Cooke City and the East Entrance to Yellowstone Park. -Cold on top. Bring coat, even mid summer you may need a wind breaker or fleece. -great hikes, fishing, canoeing on the lakes. -little store at “Top of World” with a little bit of everything.

Red Lodge is 20 miles south of Roscoe. You drive through Red Lodge on Main Street and it will take you to the Beartooth hwy. The drive over the pass is breathtaking. There is hiking in many places up on the pass. Chief Joseph hwy is on the Wyoming side at the bottom. That hwy is also a spectacular drive. You can go into Cody for sightseeing, shopping or food. In Cody you are 1.5 hours from Roscoe.

The Beartooth Pass is one of the ways to get to Yellowstone National Park. This scenic Hwy is famous for its switchback road up the mountain. To get there just go to Red Lodge and turn left!
